That leaves the tie perfectly poised ahead of Sunday’s second meeting in Yorkshire as both clubs bid to make it to the showpiece Final at the Emirates Arena in Glasgow next month.

Turning point – Down by double-digits heading into the last quarter, George Beamon kept the tie more than alive for Wolves with successive triples early in the fourth that sparked them into life.
Key stat – The tied game and closeness of the encounter was underlined by the clubs shooting 44 and 45 percent from the floor respectively.
Game hero(es) – Rob Marsden put in an eye-catching shift for Sharks with a 12-point and 10-rebound double-double, while Elvisi Dusha dropped another superb 12 assists for Wolves.
