The home side survived a late fightback as they climb three spots into fourth with an 8-6 record.

Leading scorers – Peel 22, Dixon 19, Robinson 18 (Lions) – Alexander 20, Marsden 15, Williams 13 (Sharks)

Turning point – London turned on the style in the third period as they opened up a double-digit advantage before a late rally from the Sharks saw them come up short.

Key stat – The Lions’ starting five took on a heavy workload and combined for all of their side’s points with the Sharks unable to capitalise on dominating the battle on the boards.

Game hero(es) – Brandon Peel and Jack Isenbarger were both given starting roles and recorded double-doubles in the win. Peel had a game-high 22 along with 10 boards, while Isenbarger finished with 15 points, 12 rebounds and five assists.
