Plymouth Raiders secured their first BBL Championship win since the end of November after overcoming DBL Sharks Sheffield.

Gavin Love’s side end their losing run to close the gap on the Play-Off places with Sheffield dropping to a 10-6 record.

Leading scorers – Neighbour 17, Jarvelainen 16, Rochford 15 (Raiders) – Alexander 20, Williams 18, Tuck 13 (Sharks)

Turning point – Plymouth opened up a double-digit advantage in the fourth, but saw the Sharks make a late charge to cut the gap, only for Louis Sayers to seal the game from beyond the arc.

Key stat – Sheffield struggled from 3-point range, finishing 4 of 15, while Plymouth came up with some big shots, particularly in the fourth.

Game hero(es) – Kinu Rochford had an impressive all-round game for the Raiders with 15 points, 10 rebounds, 8 assists and 4 blocks, while three other players hit double figures in the win.
