Worcester Wolves booked their place in the Play-Offs with victory on the road in Sheffield.

Worcester Wolves confirmed their place in the post-season with an impressive 97-79 victory on the road against DBL Sharks Sheffield.

The result means the Wolves win the season series between the two sides and continue a fine run of form that has seen the side win four of their last five fixtures.

Leading scorers – Williams 25, Marsden 18, Alexander 14 (Sharks); Beamon 22, Palmer / Navajas 19 (Wolves)

Turning point – Having been able to control the game’s momentum for much of the contest, the Wolves utilised an 8-2 run at the end of third quarter to extend their advantage to 15 points and put the game out of sight.

Key stat – Worcester attempted 24 threes and connected on half of them. In contrast, Sheffield could only muster 6 made shots from beyond the arc on 19 attempts.

Game hero(es) – In what proved to be a well balanced team performance, George Beamon, Trayvon Palmer and Alex Navajas combined for 60 points.
